On the Ridge - On Tour in France 2008, 2009 and 2010

On the Ridge Cooking School chefs – Tonya Jennings and Cathy Miller recently toured France in August and September, 2008.  They travelled from Paris, throughout provincial France, visited local markets, cooked with some local chefs, including Johannes Sailer in Provence, boated on the Canal du Midi, and attended a Food Photography course in the Vendée with Roger Stowell, an experienced English food stylist and photographer. 

Whilst there, they presented 2 cooking classes at the Provencal Villa Clede, to a group of Melbourne foodies on the Picnics in Provence Culinary Tour. 

In September 2009 Tonya will return to the Villa Clede with the Picnics in Provence Culinary Tour , where she will again take cooking classes at the villa, using the marvellous local Provencal produce.  The  tour will include visiting local markets, dining in some wonderfully special 'secret' provencal restaurants, superb wine, enjoying the beautiful countryside, plus a few days in Cassis and Nice; there could also be an optional tour of bargeing on the Canal du Midi, Canal du Nivernais or Canal Lateral.  Bookings are open now. Those interested, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
