• 10 minutes from the Bruce Highway turnoff to Nambour

• 10 minutes below Mapleton

• 25 minutes from Maroochydore and Coolum

• 45 minutes from Noosa and Caloundra

Option 1 – from the south (Brisbane)

• At the Nambour and Maroochydore turn off to the left and travel west on the Nambour Connection Road

• Drive towards Nambour, past the Big Pineapple and through Palmwoods and Woombye.

• Continue on this road, through Nambour - it changes its name to Currie Street and then Coronation Drive. 
  
• On the other (northern) side of town, turn left (west) at the National Park Road, Blackall Range Tourist Drive.

• Continue on this road – the Blackall Range Tourist drive - its name changes to Nertherton Road to Blackall   Terrace to Mapleton Road, past the Nambour Hospital.

• From the Nambour Hospital, drive for about 10 minutes to Kureelpa.  

• Just past the end of the overtaking lane, on the right hand side is Kureelpa Falls Road – turn right and continue along Kureelpa Falls Road for 1.8ks – to 183 Kureelpa Falls Road.

On the Ridge Cooking School is on the right, on top of the ‘hill’ – there is a gravel driveway, with hedges, a galvanized iron roof, white and pale colour house.  To park, drive down the driveway into the carport, or in the drive, at the topiary or at a 90° on the grass.

Option 2 – from the north (Noosa)

• From the north (Noosa) at the Nambour - Bli Bli Road Exit, turn off to the left.

• Drive to Nambour, around 2 roundabouts, heading west.

• Continue on this road – the Blackall Range Tourist drive - its name changes to Nertherton Road to Blackall Terrace to Mapleton Road, past the Nambour Hospital.

• From the Nambour Hospital, drive for about 10 minutes to Kureelpa. 

• Just past the end of the overtaking lane, on the right hand side is Kureelpa Falls Road – turn right and continue along Kureelpa Falls Road for 1.8ks – to 183 Kureelpa Falls Road.

Things to do around Kureelpa  
  

• Follow the Sunshine Coast Wine Trail, and visit Eumundi, Flaxton, Settlers Rise and the Big Barrel wineries.

• Discover local food providores on the hinterland food trails – cheese makers, herb, spice, fruit and vegetable growers.  See how our food is grown and produced.

• Dine out at Berardo’s or the River House at Noosa, Alegria or Wasabi at Sunshine Beach or at the Boatshed on the Maroochy River and watch the sunset. Lunch on the range at the Mapleton Tavern, or the Penny Farthing or the Poet’s Café in Montville.  Experience the local Surf Clubs and Pubs on the range.

• Stay in one of the lovely bed and breakfasts or boutique hotels such as the Spotted Chook in Montville, Musavale Lodge, in Beerwah Vale or the Buderim White House.

• Drop into the markets at Eumundi and the local farmers’ markets at Maroochy, the Big Pineapple, Noosa, and Yandina.

• Play golf at the many Sunshine golf courses.

• Walk the rainforest tracks to the Kondilila and Mapleton Falls; there are short walks as well the Great Walking trails.

• Climb Mt Coolum or the Glasshouse Mountains.

• Drive along the Blackall Range Tourist drive through Maleny, Montville and Mapleton and enjoy the breath-taking scenery.

• Motor bike ride through the range on Freedom Wheels.

• Visit Australia Zoo at Beerwah, the Big Pineapple at Nambour, the Ginger Factory at Yandina, and the Queensland Air Museum at Caloundra.

• Enjoy the local beaches just a twenty minute drive away, Noosa to Mooloolaba.

• Fish and sail anywhere along the coast.  Hire a boat on the Maroochy river.

• Cruise on the Maroochy and Noosa rivers and the Mooloolaba Harbour.

• Shop in Hastings Street, Noosa Sunshine Plaza, Maroochydore and Mooloolaba Esplanade. Venture to the craft shops, patchwork and bookshops in Montville and Maleny.
